The Book Bungalow, St. George’s world-class independent bookstore, will be hosting a Book Launch Party for the third volume in my Thad Hanlon & Bri de la Guerra Mystery Series, this Saturday, August 15th at 7:00 p.m. All are invited.

I feel so honored! My second book in the Thad Hanlon & Bri de la Guerra Mystery Series—Oceano Beach Bedlam—was just selected as a “Notable Read - General Fiction” for the 2026 Utah Book Awards, sponsored by Utah Humanities. In September, I’ll learn if I’m one of the five notable reads to advance to “Finalist.” Keeping my fingers crossed.
